In 1908 a 10 year old boy T. Dewey Harden started work for a newspaper. He later came to own a newspaper. His son T. Dewey Harden, Jr a college professor also owned printing press when he started publishing Homes & Land Magazines during the early years of that company. His four sons, one daughter, step-grandson, and step-son all one by one started publishing real estate magazines as well.

Scott Golden is the step-son of Dr. T. Dewey Harden, Jr and part of the family of publisher that started back in 1908. Scott started publishing in 1989 with the Panama City Rental Guide and later began The Buy-A-Home, The Real Estate Review and the Premier Beach Homes. Thus the beginning of Golden Enterprises.

Golden Enterprises operates a very tight ship with only few workers. Mike Schoepf the designer, Billy Richard sales and marketing, and Scott anything else that needs to be handled.

Now the family has magazines through out Tennesee, Georgia, Alabama and North Florida.
